Being a parent is amazing. You get to play with your kid’s toys, do silly things and visit amazing locations like Great Wolf Lodge and do ALL the same things with the kids.
Then, there is another side, the one where you have older kids, kids that have friends to run around with, kids you don’t have to keep an eye on 24/7, kids that can scan themselves into the room, get their own drinks and run around again with their friends, for hours, I mean it… hours.
So what are parents supposed to do? Sit and read… sure, you can. Watch a movie in the room, Yes, that is always an option.
You could try out the amazing fine dining that comes with a stay at Great Wolf Lodge!!
Dining is also a key part of the Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs experience. The resort features
several unique dining options and food outlets that appeal to every palate including the Loose Moose
Family Kitchen restaurant with delectable breakfast and dinner buffets and the Hungry as a Wolf
eatery known for its handcrafted pizza and pasta. New to the Great Wolf Lodge brand, Colorado
Springs features Barnwood, a lunch and dinner spot that offers farm-to-fork freshness with dishes
made from locally sourced ingredients such as mushrooms from Fort Collins-based Hazel Dell Organic
Mushrooms. Also new to Great Wolf Lodge is the Great Wolf Candy Company, where guests can make
their trip a little bit sweeter by choosing from a wide assortment of packaged candies and chocolates.
There are so many options:

and craft cocktails.

You can be in the hub of all the fun, have drinks with friends and have your kids come relax with you at the end of the day. It’s the best of both worlds, great drinks, great company and still being present for your kids. Relax, kick your shoes off and enjoy the smiling faces all around you. People really do love working here!!
I promise you the food is good. Like, always changing, updating and working on being better than any before it. It is different than the foods you will find in another GWL, the staff are always looking for locally owned products and please make sure to fill out the incoming questionnaire, if you have food allergies and disclose them to the staff, they will accommodate you in the best way possible. Don’t be afraid to ask, they are here for YOU!
Go, stay at the Lodge for a weekend, enjoy your time, let your kids have fun and so will you. Oh, and they will sleep like a baby for at least two nights!
